Backend Engineer/Scalability Expert

If you take pride in your hacking skills and are passionate about best practices and scaling, here's an opportunity to heavily influence the backend infrastructure of the next large social gaming titles on mobile.

Responsibilities :

• Designing and maintaining a scalable stack capable of delivering a clean and enjoyable user experience to millions.
• Design and implement new titles / game features.
• Work closely with other developers in implementing design choices and refactoring the existing codebase.
• Monitor several AWS services.

Responsibilities :

• At least a B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
• Expertise with frameworks, fault tolerance, scalability, client-server communications.
• Experience building and maintaining multi-server solutions and scalable databases (both relational and NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud solutions, including Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, S3), as well as other sys-admin type responsibilities.
• Preferably comfortable with Java, Memcached, Redis, MySQL.
• Up to date with the latest tech / architectures that work.
• Background in security/networking is a big plus.
• A passion for efficiency, optimization, maintainability, scalability + a love for technology / operations.

iOS Developer (Full Time / On-Site)

Responsibilities:

Code in Objective-C primarily and develop features that uses the iPhone SDK, such as in-app purchase and animations. Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable technologies for our gaming platform.

Requirements :

• Demonstrated fluency in a compiled language.
• Exposure to Objective-C, ideally through some commercial experience (Mac OS X and/or iPhone) or independent iPhone application development.
• Excited about working in a fast-moving, lean, start-up where you will be writing code that will bring joy to millions.
• Experience with Objective-C + Cocos2D is a huge plus.
